Top 8 books for long winter days / nights

Are you one of those people who constantly has a bunch of books by the bedside (or lists on your phone)? And are they waiting for you to finally find some time and dedicate yourself to them? If so, let me make it a little harder for you. 🙂

I bring to you a list of eight books that are perfect for long and cold winter days (although, the nights are longer). Each of these books has transformative power on their covers alone (personally experienced), but that power is activated solely by conscious reading. I mean, just keeping it by the bed will not do the trick. 🙂

The books are not listed in any hierarchical order because that would be impossible. Each title comes with a short explanation to help you choose which piece of magic to spend your time with during the winter days.

  1. “Journey of Souls”, Michael Newton
A book that will help you understand how you choose to live this life, as well as what happens between the incarnations you spend on Earth. The book is ideal for those who believe that this is our only life because it was written by a psychiatrist and a longtime atheist who was convinced of energetic reality by the 7,000 patients he worked with. He speaks about the true life of our souls in an easy-to-understand and take-on, yet scientifically well-grounded way. For those interested in regression, this is an ideal starting point.
  2. “E-Squared”, Pam Grout
A book with nine short and amazing scientific experiments that you can conduct to prove to yourself (and others) that the world of energy exists and “works.” Perfect proof that science and spirituality can work side by side. At the same time, the growth that happens in you as you progress through the book is incredibly fun and enjoyable.
  3. “Hands of Light”, Barbara Brennan
If you have decided to delve a bit deeper into the field of (self-) healing, this is a great book for you.
  4. “The Red Tent”, Anita Diamant
A book that reminds us of the sanctity of the female cycle and of the importance of living in harmony with nature. A novel that captures attention, but behind the main plot, brings important life messages for every woman.
  5. “Autobiography of a Yogi”, Paramahansa Yogananda
The first book to bring knowledge of yogic wisdom to the western world. This is a book that can open new vistas for you and help you realize that you don’t have to sit in a cave and meditate all your life to be spiritual. You can simply implement spirituality in your urban life. The many bits of wisdom that this book brings are the reason it is worth returning to many times in the course of your life.
  6. “Natural Cures “They” Don’t Want You to Know About “, Kevin Trudeau
It’s interesting, but this book talks the least about what we usually think of when we say “natural remedies” (herbs, teas, grandmother’s recipes, etc.) … This is a book that will teach you what you need to stop doing to live a healthier and more conscious life. Isn’t that wonderful? – Instead of learning hundreds of new postulates and rules, you just need to stop doing what harms your soul and body!
  7. “Freedom from Illusion: The Book of Ego”, Osho
A great book for learning about the useful and useless parts of our ego.
  8. “The Power of Eightu”, Lynne McTaggart
This great book sheds light on the power of a group that has a unified intention. Through scientific experiments, we hear a story of how each of us can use that energy to improve our lives and contribute to the planet. If, after reading this book, you feel the need to be part of a group for intention and support, my sincere advice is to listen to that inner call. My urge to establish and lead such a group more than a year ago brought me an infinite amount of beauty in life …

Enjoy the magic of reading!

P.S. None of these recommendations are paid, however I did receive many “gifts” from reading these books.
